Job Summary:

The Retail Operations Officer should have a strong experience in retail administration and inventory management. The candidate should also have experience managing all the aspects of having an online presence including updating an online website, doing the order fulfilment, the social media campaigns and after-sale support. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating order fulfillment, enhancing customer experience, and leveraging social media platforms to drive engagement and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

      •     Operations Management:
      •     Oversee the operations of online shops, ensuring efficient order processing, fulfillment, and delivery.
      •     Manage inventory levels to meet online demand, coordinating with suppliers and the warehouse team.
      •     Monitor and optimize the performance of e-commerce platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly and up-to-date.

      •     Social Media Management:
      •     Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand presence and engage with the online community.
      •     Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
      •     Monitor social media channels for customer feedback, inquiries, and trends, responding promptly and appropriately.

      •     Customer Experience:
      •     Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience across all online channels, addressing customer issues and improving service processes.
      •     Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

      •     Data Analysis and Reporting:
      •     Track and analyze key performance metrics for online sales and social media engagement.
      •     Prepare and present regular reports on e-commerce and social media performance to management.

      •     Collaboration:
      •     Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and online sales strategies.
      •     Coordinate with the IT department to ensure the smooth operation of online platforms and resolve any technical issues.
      •     Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues.

      •     Process Improvement:
      •     Identify opportunities to streamline online operations and improve efficiency.
      •     Implement best practices for inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service.
      •     Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company’s online operations competitive.


Qualifications:

      •     Education:
      •     Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.

      •     Experience:
      •     Proven experience in e-commerce operations, online retail management, or a similar role.
      •     Experience in managing social media platforms and developing social media strategies.

      •     Skills:
      •     Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and social media tools.
      •     Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
      •     Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
      •     Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
      •     Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
