Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Showroom Manager to lead the interior design and furniture showroom in Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving indoor sales, leading outdoor business development eIorts, overseeing merchandising, and managing the design of interior design projects. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, business development skills, and a keen eye for design and merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:
1. IndoorSalesManagement:

o Oversee daily showroom operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience.

o Lead the sales team, set sales targets, and ensure these are met or exceeded.

o Develop and implement sales strategies to increase showroom foot traIic and conversion rates.

o Handle high-value sales, build and maintain relationships with key clients. 2. OutdoorBusinessDevelopment:

o Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the market, including partnerships, collaborations, and large-scale projects.

o Develop relationships with architects, builders, real estate developers, and other potential clients.

o Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to expand the company’s reach.

3. Merchandising:
o Ensure the showroom is visually appealing, well-organized, and reflective of

the latest design trends.
o Work closely with the merchandising team to plan and execute product

displays and showroom layouts.
o Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of key products and the

introduction of new lines.
4. InteriorDesignProjectManagement:

o Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into creative interior design solutions.

o Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

o Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and the design team to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the interior design or furniture industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Creative flair with a strong understanding of interior design principles and trends.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
