We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Scheduler to join our team in Mazraat Yachouh - Maten. The Manufacturing Scheduler will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products. This role involves coordinating with various departments, analyzing production data, and adjusting schedules as needed to meet changing demands and resolve any production issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedule Development:
o Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
o Ensure that production schedules align with sales orders, customer requirements, and inventory management strategies.
2. Coordination and Communication:
o Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources required for production.
o Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant departments to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth production flow.
3. Production Monitoring:
o Monitor production progress and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to schedules and identify any potential delays or issues.
o Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
4. Problem Resolution:
o Address and resolve production scheduling conflicts, equipment malfunctions, and other issues that may impact the production timeline.
o Implement corrective actions and work with relevant teams to prevent recurrence of scheduling issues.
5. Inventory Management:
o Coordinate with inventory management teams to ensure that raw materials and finished goods inventory levels are optimized and align with production schedules.
o Adjust schedules as needed to manage inventory levels and avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and adjustments.
o Prepare and present regular reports on scheduling performance, production progress, and other relevant metrics to management.
7. Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing scheduling efficiency and overall production performance.
o Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to continually improve scheduling processes.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in production scheduling or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
