The first person our members and guests see when they come to the gym is the receptionist. As the face of CAK Gym, it’s important that our receptionists are friendly, helpful, and professional at all times. We’re looking for a qualified individual to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our members and guests. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in customer service, as well as a passion for health and fitness. He or she will be responsible for greeting members and guests, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing information about our services.
Job Responsibilities:
Greeting and checking in members and guests
Answering phone inquiries and providing customer service.
Explaining facility policies and procedures to new members and helping them get acquainted with the facility.
Scheduling appointments and classes.
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
Assisting with membership sales and renewals.
Updating member information in the database.
Assisting with marketing and promotional activities.
Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
Assisting with the maintenance of gym equipment.
Assisting with the ordering of supplies and inventory.
Troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints and issues.
Providing general administrative support as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess strong customer service skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with coworkers, supervisors, and
guests.
Bilingual a Plus
