Job Purpose
Ensure diners are receiving high-quality service. The daily duties range from training informally all levels of servers, overseeing the proper order and flow of dishes, informing staff about specials and keeping the dining areas clean and organized at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Always greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
2. Always thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit
3. Assist guests with table reservation and while seating
4. Ensure guests are serviced within specified time
5. Speak with guests and staff using clear and professional language
6. Answer phone calls when required, using appropriate telephone etiquette
7. Answer any questions related to the menu and assist with menu selections
8. Anticipate any unexpected guest need and react promptly and tactfully
9. Set tables according to type of event and service standards
10. Record transactions in point of sales system at the time of order
11. Present accurate final bill to guests and process payments
12. Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and items availability
13. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen
14. Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages
15. Ensure that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized at the front of all the house areas

Qualifications:
Education:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of working experience in food & beverage is required.
Others Good command in spoken English. Must be meticulously clean and aware of all food safety. Excellent attention to detail. Availability and flexibility in schedule is required.
