• Review daily purchasing invoices.
• Make sure purchase invoice complies with purchase orders and execute the necessary rebates/credit notes when needed.
• Set the selling price for the different items based on upper management guidelines.
• Stay up to date with suppliers’ contract terms and reflect those terms in the pricing of the different items
• Negotiate deals and promotions with suppliers.
• Coordinate and participate in the preparation for promotional campaigns.
• Implement price updates related to promotional campaigns (including the online activity calendar) and make sure the update is executed timely based on the campaigns’ schedules.
• Handle expiry date reports issued by the showroom managers; communicate with the different suppliers to take necessary action in this regard
• Supervise the showroom manager and coordinate floor activities to ensure the timely execution of displays related to deals made by the procurement department and the timely update of price tags on the different shelves.
• Supervise/coordinate the procurement activity to maintain adequate inventory levels that serve the business requirements while avoiding overstock that is not necessary.
• Visit the warehouse on a weekly basis to make sure it is in proper condition and trace potential overstock or items that could be prioritized for promotions and displays.
