JOB PURPOSE
The Runner is responsible for ensuring that food and drinks are delivered to the customer promptly, accurately, with the time frame mentioned in the sequence of service or standards of operations, and in a visually appealing manner, according to set procedures and utmost hygiene standards, enhancing the overall dining experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and polish the restaurant’s equipment, glassware, crockery, cutlery, and chinaware in line with the required hygiene and cleaning standards to guarantee proper maintenance.
- Prepare and set aside a backup side station before, during, and after operations, including crockery and cutlery backups, wet wipes, napkins, bread baskets, etc.
- Ensure that service stations are adequately stocked and maintain the cleanliness and organization of all workspaces to support efficient customer service.
- Participate in the restaurant closing process by checking condiments' expiry dates before cleaning and replenishing those on the tables, as well as counting the dirty table linen and placing them in the laundry basket. - Arrange table setups before and after each customer according to the brand's established standards.

LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English.
EDUCATION
High school degree.
EXPERIENCE
Zero to two years of experience in a similar role.
