JOB PURPOSE
The Picker is responsible for gathering the appropriate items to fulfill the incoming orders and delivering them to the controller in a matter that meets company quality standards. He/She is also responsible for products on shelves, packing them, and transporting them to trucks or shipping containers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1-Packing of items:
- Pick and pack items in order to send them for delivery.
- Sort the items and recount them to make sure all the products on the order request are ready to be packed.
- Keep the goods in an orderly manner to enable quick sales.
- Organize the products on the shelves to ensure that the required ones are easily accessible.
- Operate stocker to fill the orders when required.
2- Quality Control:
- Examine the condition of the goods to avoid delivering damaged packs.
- Record the return of damaged products that are received from the clients.
- Monitor the expiry dates in order to avoid outdated products.
- Maintain a clean, neat and ordered work area.
- Replenish products upon need.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- High school Degree or Technical Degree.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in warehousing.
- Fluent in Arabic. Basic knowledge of English.
- Great attention to details.
- Good physical health.
