We are seeking to hire Demi Chef de Partie
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within the assigned section
Assist the Chef de Partie in ensuring that all food is prepared to the required standards and specifications
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation in compliance with hygiene and safety standards
Support in daily mise en place preparation for service
Ensure proper storage and labeling of all ingredients and prepared food
Minimize waste and ensure proper portion control
Follow all recipes, menus, and presentation standards as directed by senior chefs.
Communicate effectively with team members and other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service flow.
Assist in the training and development of Commis and trainee cooks.
Report any maintenance, safety, or equipment issues to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Uphold all food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP standards).
Job Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel is a plus
Basic culinary training or diploma in Food Production / Culinary Arts preferred.
Good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
