Create and implement a business strategy for the growth of the department by doing periodic market
research that would help in improving the overall performance of the department [ex. Price surveys,
market visits, business trends…etc].
Meet, Negotiate and source products for the department with local and foreign suppliers.
Work closely with the manufacturing department to ensure a health stock balance for the current
models and all the semi-finished products as per the submitted orders / forecast.
Manage and maintain the products catalogue and availability for the showroom/s.
Monitor and evaluate brand/item performance.
Liaise with the supply chain on stock level / item distribution across the company and ensure all
items are available in the showroom as needed. Constantly looking for new potential brands and
products that would enhance the business growth of the department.
Work closely with the V.M department to create a consistent planogram for the stores and ways to
maintain it.
Coordinate with the Sales department to conduct products training / selling points for newly
introduced brands / items when needed.
Work closely with the Marketing department to create promotional campaigns that increases sales
performance or clear slow to none-moving items.
