Profile:
Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in maintenance within a food or snacks manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment (packaging machines, fryers, conveyors, etc.)
Electrical systems, PLCs, and automation basics
Understanding of food plant sanitation and safety standards
Duties:
🔹 Maintenance Planning & Execution:
Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all machinery and utilities (fryers, ovens, conveyors, packaging machines, etc.)
Ensure minimal downtime of production equipment and rapid response to breakdowns.
Monitor and maintain utility systems (boilers, air compressors, HVAC, etc.)
🔹 Team Supervision:
Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of maintenance technicians and contractors.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and training to the maintenance team.
Maintain high safety and performance standards among staff.
🔹 Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
Ensure prompt and effective repairs to maintain production continuity.
Monitor root cause analysis and suggest improvement plans.
🔹 Compliance & Safety:
Enforce compliance with safety and health regulations.
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
🔹 Inventory & Budget Management:
Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance tools.
Assist in the planning and control of maintenance budget.
Source and coordinate with external vendors for parts or services when required.
