This role involves managing a team, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Kitchen Operations:
Oversee daily activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Staff Management:
Foster a positive and productive work environment, managing staff, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts.
• Food Safety & Hygiene:
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations (HACCP principles) and maintain a clean kitchen.
• Inventory and Cost Control:
Manage inventory, minimize waste, and ensure efficient ingredient usage.
• Team Leadership:
Guide and motivate the kitchen team to achieve high standards and meet operational goals.
• Quality Assurance:
Inspect food for quality and consistency, ensuring all menu items are prepared to the highest standards.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a QSR kitchen management role.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, recipes, and plating.
• Proven ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and foster a positive work environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
