Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee both project management and quality management within our jewelry production operations. This role ensures that all production processes run smoothly, deadlines are met, and the highest quality standards are maintained from design to final delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience with tracking systems and production flow optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
• Plan and coordinate all stages of jewelry production from prototyping to final packaging.
• Create and monitor production schedules, ensuring timelines are met.
• Collaborate with designers, CAD teams, workshop supervisors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment.
• Troubleshoot production delays and bottlenecks quickly and efficiently.
• Implement and oversee digital or manual tracking systems to monitor production flow in real-time.
2. Quality Management:
• Define and enforce quality standards for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished jewelry pieces.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure non-compliant items are documented and improved.
• Work with QA/QC teams to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure customer satisfaction by minimizing errors, defects, and production rework.
3. System & Process Oversight:
• Oversee the tracking and ERP systems (e.g., Visual Dolphin or similar) to ensure accurate recording of production stages.
• Propose and implement improvements for production efficiency and traceability.
• Maintain documentation of workflows, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Liaise with IT or software teams to ensure the production system is functioning and optimized.
4. Team Management:
• Supervise production floor staff and ensure roles are clearly defined.
• Coordinate with the head of workshop and quality teams to streamline communication.
• Lead training for new processes, quality standards, or system updates.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Business, or related field (Master’s is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience in production, project, or quality management (preferably in jewelry or luxury manufacturing)
• Strong knowledge of quality control systems and project management methodologies
• Proficient in ERP or production tracking software (Visual Dolphin, Odoo, etc.)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
