The Foreman oversee the filling and packaging operations in the facility. He will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and achieving daily production targets efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all activities related to the filling and packaging lines.
Ensure shift meets the production plan by working with Loaders, helpers, operators, and Plant Manager, and maintaining staffing levels.
Monitor the filling and packaging lines to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.
Monitor production output and ensure it meets the required specifications, quality, and standards.
Troubleshoot operational problems and safety issues on assigned shift.
Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely servicing and minimal downtime of machinery.
Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality records and submit complete and thorough documented shift reports.
Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and request replenishment as needed.
Monitor the production plan and ensure delivery in a timely-manner.
Instructs and trains direct reports and keeps shift personnel updated.
Monitor KPIs and improve plant safety, quality, efficiency, and cost for assigned shift.
Additional duties and responsibilities can be later on assigned as per management decision.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in mechanical/industrial engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a plastic or manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions:
- May require standing for long periods and handling equipment.
- Rotational shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
