A Senior Mechanical Technician in power generation is responsible for leading maintenance and repair activities on mechanical equipment within a power plant, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role involves hands-on work, troubleshooting, leading teams, and contributing to preventative maintenance programs.
• Conduct competent and effective preventative and corrective maintenance on all generators
• To be highly knowledgeable of and competent in the spares parts required and supporting mechanical systems at the power plants. .
• Maintain records and reports as required, including inventory of necessary parts.
• Demonstrate leadership and commitment in ensuring that maintenance activities are performed by self and team members in full compliance with the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures when on the plant site and during the execution of work duties.
• Be available to respond to emergencies at all times outside of regular working hours.
Qualifications:
- BT, TS, LT Degree in Mechanical
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in engines repairs.
