REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (preferred) or Interior Design
• Excellent graphic communication skills
• Creative mindset with strong attention to technical details
• Solid understanding of complex geometric spaces
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive and review design requests
• Brainstorm lighting design concepts, analyze design requirements, project delivery, timelines, etc.
• Utilize software tools including AutoCAD, Dialux, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Lumion.
• Prepare drawings and perform calculations to ensure all specifications are met.
• Select and specify lighting luminaires.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for client submissions.
• Coordinate technical and commercial activities with lighting suppliers.
Visit sites as needed.
• Proactively identify and pursue new project opportunities (spec-in with consultants/architects, tender tracking, site leads), maintain regular client communication, prepare commercial offers, and drive opportunities from first contact to purchase order.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing support, information, guidance, and selling opportunities.
• Keep clients informed about new lighting ideas, technologies, and products, and provide them with updated catalogues
