Morad Foods is seeking an experienced in-house Food Technologist to specialize in one of our key product lines:
- Savoury sauces (ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic paste, etc.), or
- Sweet spreads & toppings (chocolate spread, cocoa-based products, dessert sauces).
Experience in at least one category is mandatory, while expertise in both is considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities – Depending on Specialty
1. Sauces:
- Manage production of sauces, ensuring product consistency (texture, viscosity, pH, stability).
- Oversee cooking, pasteurization, and cooling processes to guarantee microbiological safety.
- Troubleshoot process issues such as separation, flavor deviations, or viscosity challenges.
- Collaborate with Procurement on raw material specifications.
- Support new product development for condiments and sauces.
2. Sweet Spreads:
- Supervise production of sweet spreads and dessert toppings.
- Control crystallization, viscosity, spreadability, and flavor balance.
- Oversee processing of cocoa, sugar melting, emulsifiers, and stabilizers.
- Manage allergen-sensitive ingredients with strict hygiene protocols.
- Support R&D for innovation (reduced sugar, vegan, clean-label spreads).
General Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO, and food safety standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for yield, costs, and waste reduction.
- Train production operators and staff in processes and hygiene.
- Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams for audits and troubleshooting.
- Document processes and technical adjustments.
