R&D Analytical Scientist
Job Purpose
Responsible for performing quantitative and qualitative analytical testing, in coordination with the formulation department in order to develop, amend or validate finished products.
Perform duties in accordance with Malia Group Policies and Procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities
On Analytical Testing
-Develop and validate analytical methods, and perform testing for components and finished products as well as impurities and degradation products
-Design and conduct stability tests for raw materials, formulations, packaging components and finished products
-Prepare stability testing report to justify shelf life of finished product
-Keep chemical and equipment (spare parts) inventory updated
-Optimize existing analytical method as per new regulations and equipment
-Ensure smooth transfer of method to QC department
-Conduct timely calibration of equipment and update related documentation
-Maintain accurate notebooks including conclusions and records; ensure notebooks are signed and countersigned in a timely manner
-Provide when needed the history of analysis and comparison with previous tests
-Provide constructive feedback to R&D supervisor regarding improvements
