We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Agricultural Engineer specializing in Animal Production to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving and overseeing animal production systems, ensuring sustainable practices, and integrating new technologies to enhance productivity, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, evaluate, and implement animal housing and feeding systems.
Monitor and optimize animal production processes (e.g., breeding, nutrition, waste management).
Conduct research and field trials to improve livestock productivity and efficiency.
Collaborate with veterinarians, nutritionists, and farm managers to ensure animal health and welfare.
Develop and promote sustainable practices in animal production systems.
Analyze data and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in animal agriculture.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Animal Production, Animal Science, or related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in animal production or livestock systems engineering.
Strong understanding of livestock farming technologies, animal nutrition, and production systems.
Proficiency in agricultural software tools and data analysis.
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
