Job Description
We are looking for an Estimator to join our team. You will play a key role in preparing cost estimates, analyzing tender documents, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting IT development.
Responsibilities
• Analyze plans, specifications, and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Request, analyze, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Draft bids, proposals, and amendments.
• Support project managers in developing budgets, extras, and cost tracking.
• Ensure all estimates comply with health and safety standards and applicable codes.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in written and spoken French is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is mandatory.
• General IT knowledge required (file management, online collaboration, navigation, and digital tools).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
• College diploma in estimating, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, IT, or a related field (asset).
• University degree in a relevant field (asset).
• Knowledge of English (asset).
