Job Announcement: (CPMV Manager – Plant, Equipment & Fleet Operations

A major construction and infrastructure company operating in Congo-Brazzaville is seeking a highly experienced PMV Manager – Plant, Equipment & Fleet Operations to oversee the management, maintenance, and operational readiness of its batch plant, heavy machinery, and extensive transportation fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all PMV activities, covering heavy equipment, batch plant operations, vehicle fleet, and transport assets.
Oversee deployment, allocation, and performance of equipment and fleet across multiple project sites.
Manage and optimize operations of large semi-trailers (semi-remorques) used for transporting materials and equipment.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
Supervise workshop teams, mechanics, and maintenance personnel across different operational locations.
Monitor fleet utilization, fuel efficiency, equipment performance, and maintenance KPIs; recommend improvements.
Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Coordinate equipment and fleet needs with project managers to ensure timely support for construction activities.
Manage spare parts inventory, procurement planning, and maintenance cost control.
Prepare maintenance reports, fleet usage records, technical assessments, and budget forecasts.
Provide technical guidance, training, and leadership to PMV teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
8–10+ years of solid experience in PMV management within construction, mining, logistics, or industrial operations.
Strong technical background in heavy machinery, batch plants, vehicle fleet operations, and transportation management (including semi-trailers).
Proven leadership experience managing multi-site equipment and fleet operations.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience using CMMS systems, diagnostic tools, and fleet tracking technologies.
Previous experience in Africa or similar environments is an advantage.
