Rifitel Nigeria Limited, a reputable Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) contracting company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our project execution team. The successful candidate must have strong technical expertise in electrical building services and proven experience supervising MEP site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all electrical installations on site (LV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting, ELV, earthing, lightning protection, etc.).
Interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications with high accuracy.
Plan and manage daily work activities for electricians, artisans, and subcontractors.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with standards.
Prepare and submit daily site reports, work progress updates, and materials request forms.
Monitor installation progress and ensure alignment with MEP coordination drawings.
Collaborate closely with Mechanical, QS, HSE, QA/QC, and Project Managers to support project delivery.
Identify and resolve electrical technical issues on site promptly.
Enforce strict adherence to HSE guidelines and company procedures.
Requirements
B.Eng / HND in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in electrical works within the MEP construction sector.
Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, panels, cabling, ELV systems, grounding, and electrical testing.
Ability to read, interpret, and implement technical drawings and specifications.
Experience with MEP coordination and project supervision.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit is an added advantage.
