Tasks and Duties
Develop collections aligned with market trends, brand identity, and product strategy.
Select materials, finishes, fabrics, and hardware suitable for design intent and budget.
Coordinate with production management to refine prototypes and ensure manufacturability.
Prepare interior layouts for showrooms projects.
Optimize space utilization through functional furniture placement and ergonomic planning.
Produce mood boards, color schemes, and theme-based design concepts.
Incorporate lighting, decor, and accessories to enhance the overall ambiance.
Meet clients to understand requirements, style preferences, and functional needs.
Present design proposals, 3D visuals, materials, and cost estimates.
Adjust designs based on reviews while maintaining design integrity and project feasibility.
Support sales teams with design input to enhance customer experience and improve conversion.
Produce accurate technical drawings and BOQs for production and installation.
Prepare detailed specifications for carpentry, upholstery, paint, and finishing works.
Ensure designs comply with quality expectations.
Collaborate with carpenters, upholsterers, CNC operators, and finishing teams.
Follow up during production to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment with design intent.
Monitor global furniture trends, materials, and technologies.

Recommend updates to existing product lines and showroom setups.
Requirements
Interior Design Degree
5-7 years of experience in Furniture Design and Interior Designs
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar design tools.
Ability to produce high-quality 3D renders and detailed shop drawings.
Solid understanding of carpentry, joinery techniques, upholstery, and materials.
Creativity with strong aesthetic sense.
