- Receive requests from the sales to start handling the pricing process
-Work closely with carriers and liners, transporters, agents and counterparts to acquire the best rates in the market & provide client with different pricing scenarios
-Negotiate the approved pricing scenario with the shipping lines / agents to provide client with the ideal price.
-Build and maintain an ongoing relationship with different shipping line and agents to stays current on pricing trends for business continuity
-Update the operation team with confirmed price to proceed in the operation process & collaborate seamlessly between commercial and operations departments
-Designing effective and competitive end to end pricing solutions based on research of routings, modes of transport, carriers, etc.
-Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing strategies, making adjustments as needed to enhance profitability & report on key performance indicators highlighting areas for improvement.
-Ensure necessary procedures are implemented in daily operational activities & proper handling as per quality standards to avoid any discrepancy that could lead to penalties or fines.
