Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Construction Planning Engineer (Contractor-Side) to lead planning, scheduling, and time-control activities across multiple concurrent construction projects.
The role is execution-driven, requiring hands-on site coordination, firm control of approved baselines, and full accountability for schedule performance, progress measurement, and recovery planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, defend, and control baseline and live schedules for complex, multi-package projects.
• Lead planning activities across multiple active projects simultaneously, prioritizing resources and critical paths.
• Measure actual progress, identify slippages early, and drive recovery and acceleration actions with site teams.
• Perform Critical Path, delay, and Earned Value analysis, delivering clear, decision-oriented reports to management.
• Link schedules with cash flow forecasts, invoicing milestones, and payment tracking.
• Integrate variations, re-sequencing, and change orders into live schedules with full traceability.
• Coordinate closely with Project, Commercial, Procurement, and Site teams to ensure schedule realism and execution alignment.
• Support EOT submissions, claims, and contractual positions through robust and defensible planning data.
• Apply a forensic planning approach to analyze delays, identify root causes, and support recovery and contractual decisions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of proven contractor-side planning experience on complex construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, with a strong command of progress measurement techniques.
• Proven capability in schedule–cost integration, Earned Value Management, and recovery planning.
