Job Summary
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating and maintaining attractive, strategic product displays across all branches to enhance customer experience, drive sales, and ensure consistent brand visibility. This role defines and enforces visual merchandising standards, monitors compliance, and coordinates with branch teams to implement creative store presentations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Visual Standards & Store Presentation
• Design engaging window displays and in-store layouts.
• Ensure all product displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Maintain brand consistency in all presentations, graphics, and signage.
• Implement visual merchandising standards across all branches.
• Highlight and promote the company’s key and exclusive brands.
• Adapt displays to reflect the company’s culture, products, and target market.
2. Product Placement & Promotions
• Prioritize the display of key and exclusive products.
• Highlight new arrivals, seasonal campaigns, and special promotions.
• Optimize space utilization for maximum product visibility and sales impact.
• Plan product positioning based on sales trends and customer behavior.
• Ensure promotional materials (posters, banners, signage) are correctly displayed.
• Coordinate product launches and seasonal updates with branch teams.
3. Monitoring, Control & Coordination
• Conduct branch inspections and visual audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide feedback, recommendations, and corrective action plans to branch teams.
• Coordinate with Visual Merchandising Coordinators for consistent application of principles.
• Train branch staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices.
• Support new branch openings, renovations, and special projects with full visual setup.
• Monitor competitor display trends and propose improvements.
4. Creativity & Design Development
• Develop, review, and present innovative display and design concepts.
• Ensure displays reflect seasonal, festive, or promotional themes.
• Identify key messages and define a clear visual outcome for each display.
• Research lifestyle trends, demographics, and design patterns to enhance presentations.
• Suggest creative solutions for in-store challenges and new initiatives.
• Maintain a high level of artistic and aesthetic quality in all work.

Knowledge & Skills
• Excellent command of French and English; strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Auto Lubumbashi products is a plus.
• Strong creativity, artistic sense, and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead teams.
• Commitment to professionalism, discretion, and high standards of excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Design, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in multi-branch retail operations.
