Madarek Group is hiring for ongoing hotel and high-spec projects in Iraq
We are looking for a strong, site-driven Electrical Lead Engineer to take ownership of electrical execution across ongoing and upcoming projects in Iraq.
This is a hands-on role focused on site delivery, not a desk-based position.
Role Overview:
• Lead and supervise all electrical works on site from start to handover
• Ensure progress, quality, and coordination with all trades
• Manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
• Support testing, commissioning, and final completion
• Report progress and technical issues to Project Management
Scope of Work:
• ELV / Low Current Systems (Priority)
(CCTV, Access Control, GRMS, BMS, Fire Alarm, Data & WiFi)
• Power Distribution Systems
(MDBs, SMDBs, panels, cabling, final connections)
• Lighting Systems (Architectural, Decorative & Smart Control Integration)
(Feature lighting, dimming, scene control, and integration with BMS/GRMS systems)
• Generators and UPS Systems
(Critical loads, backup systems, continuity)
• Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems
Requirements:
• 6–10 years of strong site experience in electrical works
• Proven experience in execution (not only design)
• Good understanding of both power and ELV systems
• Experience in hospitality / hotel projects is highly preferred
• Ability to manage site activities and solve problems on the ground
• Team player with strong coordination skills
